La la land - no not the movie!

La La Land - Bar & Kitchen Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato
When I told my friends La la land they all said 'Oh the movie!' but this place is actually located in Gachibowli. We went there on a Thursday evening. The first thing that we tried out was the Classic Daiquiri. This was made really well and instead of the salt rimming it had sugar rimming which surprising went well with the drink.
The initial starter that we ordered was the Fish Chilly Soya. I as such anyways love Asian food and this was absolutely amazing to taste.
The next cocktail that we had was Sex on the Beach. It is one of the classics and was made like one with the perfect presentation and colors. At the same time it was not too strong so you could enjoy the flavors.
The next starter that we had was the Honey Crispy Chicken. The chicken was fresh and crispy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The sesame seeds added to the flavors.
After that we tried out the Lasooni Fish Tikka. The fish was tender and melted in the mouth. I have never had such soft fish before.
We then ordered the Green Apple Martini. They can actually make you whatever flavored Martini that you ask them for.
Post that we tried out the Aam Sutra. This cocktail had the freshness and flavor of ripe mangoes and was so good that I had to ordered another one soon.
The next dish was the Achari Tangdi Kebab. The Tandgi Kebab was wholesome in flavor.
We then tried the Choco Martini - this is more like a dessert and alcohol combination and great for those with a sweet tooth.
The next dish was Singapore prawns. The prawns were good in size, marinated well and tasted amazing.
We then tried out their Punjabiyo di Thali which had small portions of absolutely yummy stuff like Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken.
We then had two round of Kamikaze shots.
Post that we had Dal Makhani as we were super hungry after all the drinking and dancing.
We also ordered garlic Naan and I must say the naan was super soft.
We also ordered the egg gravy which was a unique dish as the omelette was prepared separately and then mixed with the gravy.
We also had the Bhuna Gosht. The mutton was spicy, tender and juicy at the same time.
We finished it off by having Sarson da saag and makke di roti which is the perfect Punjabi ending to a Shuddh desi bar.
Overall: A definite must visit. They have amazing food in every cuisine that they serve and an amazing ambiance for drinking and dancing.
